Read Junior Scholastic article about Africa.  Do map sheet.  View graded papers.
HW: Is your notebook updated and in order?  Be sure your grade sheet is neat, complete, and correct with 15 items and grades.  Recopy it if necessary.  I will take it up Wednesday, 3/2.
Tuesday, 3/1
Label Ch. 12 map of Western Europe. You will be tested on the map and capitals of Western Europe at the end of Ch. 12.  
HW: Read 12-1.  Have your grade sheet ready.  
Wednesday, 3/2
Turn in grade sheet.  Review 12-1.  Complete 12-1 notes.  Read article about the United Kingdom.  Do map sheet.
HW: Research Martin Luther (1483-1546).  Highlight important information.  Bring your research to class Tuesday, 3/8.  Be sure to include the name of the well-known hymn he wrote.
      
Thursday, 3/3
Get map of the British Isles.  Read page 344.  Take 12-1 reading check.  Read about the European Union.
HW: Read 12-2.  Work on research.
Friday, 3/4
Complete 12-2 notes.  Take 12-2 reading check.  
HW: Work on research.  

***FYI: You will have two tests on Chapter 12.  The first test will be Thursday, 3/10, and will cover 12-1, 12-2, and 12-3.  The second one will be after Spring Break and will cover 12-4 and 12-5.  Then we will have the Western Europe map and capitals test.
