Read 9-1.  Copy 9-2 notes.  Read pages 259-264.

HW: Write a paragraph that summarizes pages 259-264.  Review 9-1.  Study map.  

Bring money for class project.  We will collect money through December 9.

Go to ASF to see Peter Pan.  

Wednesday, 12/1

Turn in paragraph.  Review 9-1.  Take 9-1 reading check.  Read Junior Scholastic article about Colombia.  Complete map search.  Begin reading 9-2.

HW: Finish reading 9-2.  Study map.

Thursday, 12/2

Review 9-2.  Copy 9-2 notes.  Watch video and complete questions.  Read page 270 and answer questions about the Galapagos Islands.

HW: Review 9-2.  Study map.

Friday, 12/3  Activity Schedule

Review 9-1 and 9-2.  Take 9-2 reading check.  Read 9-3.  Copy 9-3 notes.

Monday, 11/8

Go over puzzle.  Review for test.  Take Ch. 8 check-up.  Discuss format for Ch. 7 work.

HW: Study for Ch. 8 test.  

Tuesday, 11/9

Take Ch. 8 test.  Begin Ch. 7.

Wednesday, 11/10, Friday, 11/12, and Monday, 11/15

Work on Ch. 7.  Refer to your assignment sheet for Ch. 7.  

HW: Study Ch. 7 map each night.  Be sure Ch. 7 work is completed by Tuesday, 11/16.

Get group grade.  Do section check-ups.  Do puzzle questions.  Review for Ch. 7 open-book test and map test.

HW: Be sure all Ch. 7 work is completed for the open-book test tomorrow.  Study for  Ch. 7 map test. 

Wednesday, 11/17  Thanksgiving Chapel

Take Ch. 7 open-note test.  Take Ch. 7 map test.  List Ch. 9 vocabulary words.

HW: Be sure you have listed the vocabulary words for Ch. 9.

Do Ch. 9 vocabulary activity.  Label Ch. 9 map.  Do Thanksgiving activities.
